WooCommerce Storefront Edit Footer

In this post, I will share how you can change the Storefront theme footer’s look and feel. Moreover, you can modify it for aesthetic and functional purposes, including replacing the Storefront branded copyright text. Beyond editing the branded copyright text, changing the footer colors might motivate you to edit the footer.

What Is a Footer

WordPress sites have four sections:

  • Header
  • Body
  • Footer

The footer shares many similarities with the header. They are both fixed sections that display across your site’s pages and contain important information. However, the main difference is that the footer is located at the bottom of the site. The header is located at the top of the site.

You can include a sitemap in the Storefront theme footer, links to legal disclaimers, company information, and similar ‘formal’ elements. Additionally, you can add:

  • Copyright information and date
  • Resource sections
  • Contact details
  • Privacy policy and Terms of Service
  • Affiliate programs

If you are looking for your website’s footer content, it is stored (logically) on the footer.php file of the Storefront theme.
