For the next coming days, I will embark on teaching you how to make WordPress backend cleaner, getting rid of all unnecessary ‘clutter’ found on the backend to make WordPress backend cleaner and less confusing for your clients.
Today I will show you a simple trick to remove plugin descriptions on the WordPress plugin page. It’s simple as I have stated since it involves 3 clicks, nothing sophisticated here just plain simple.
Remove WordPress Plugin Descriptions and Clean Up Your Dashboard
If you have installed plugins they come with descriptions that have links to the plugin’s author websites. The plugin website link is important for sharing information regarding a certain plugin.
When you don’t want these descriptions to show up on WordPress:
- You should simply log into your WordPress dashboard
- Navigate to plugin’s page and on top look for screen options click to open the drop down
- Uncheck descriptions to get remove plugin descriptions, apply the new setting and Eureka ! When you save the new settings all the plugin descriptions will be gone.
