WooCommerce email footer has a default message – build with WooCommerce that appears on all the order emails and you may want to replace it or remove it altogether. In this quick tip, I will show you where you change to remove the build with WooCommerce on the email footer.

Default WooCommerce Email Footer Text
By default WooCommerce order email has the footer text with credit links to WooCommerce something that most users want to replace with a custom text message or to automatically remove it altogether.
If you have not seen the default order email the footer text appears as shown in the image below :
Remove Built with WooCommerce Email
To remove automatically built with WooCommerce remove email footer text, you do not require any plugin since WooCommerce by default allows you to edit this text on the settings page. To edit follow the steps below :
Steps to Remove Built with WooCommerce Email Footer Text
- Step 1: Log into your WooCommerce site and navigate to the WooCommerce settings page as shown in the image below. Under the main WooCommerce settings page check the email settings as indicated with the arrow(Number 2):
- Step 2: Scroll to the bottom and look for the text area where the footer text is located as shown in the image below( arrow 3). Change the text and save the changes and you will successfully remove built-with-woocommerce email text from the order footer.
You can either replace it or you can remove it and leave it blank and you will not see any footer text on the email order when you leave it blank.
Conclusion
As you see in the two steps, you do not require a plugin to change or remove the build with the WooCommerce message on your order email since WooCommerce provides a default option to change this email footer text.
